Replacing the cheap brackets is a must when doing a Classic VW chassis right. Airkewld has devised a solution for Beetle, Ghia, and Fridolin chassis when the hand brake handle bracket needs to be corrected. Drill out the spot welds on the old bracket, spot weld the new one, and fully weld it together.

Working on a resto/mod 67 bug. Replaced the pan halves and removed the factory ebrake assembly. I was looking for a replacement that would function well and look good. Of course the staff at AirKewld had the exact product I was searching for. the ebrake assembly comes in 3 pieces, fresh from the water jet. The fit is exact and the finish looks great.

I had a hard time finding a replacement parking brake bracket for my  dune buggy. I found this part on this website and it worked better than the original bracket. This item was also shipped quickly.
