Quantity in Stock:10 Availability:: Usually Ships in 24 to 48 Hours PART #: 2418 How narrow is your beam?: 2" 3" 4" 5" 6" Qty: Description Complete Details To get proper Ackerman, you need to have the right length of tie rods when you narrow your beam. It is not as simple as cutting your tie rods the amount you narrowed your beam. It's a math problem. For reference, your steering box is not in the center of the beam. It is to the left here in the US. So the lengths of the tie rods play a major role in steering geometry. So, to not give away our secrets, let's just say we have done the math for you. Stock tie rods consist of part numbers 131415801B, 131415802C for 1966-68, and 131415801F, 131415802E for 1969-77.Made in the USA | Product updated 2/21/24 by PeteRelated: Premium Tie Rod Ends | PRObuilt Steering Box | Ultimate Beam Install KitTypical time to install - 2 Hours | Install PDF Link | Install Video | Tools Needed What's included? When updating your tie rod assemblies, it is recommended to update your tie rod ends to a premium german brand, if possible as some manufacture's build those ends in the wrong tolerances. We prefer Meyle when possible. You can find them here.
