We take for granted a vehicle stopping in an adequate amount of time. Classic Volkswagens don't have brakes that can be counted on, time after time, at least not on today's highways when needed most. It's time to change that. It's time to install an American-Made disc brake kit that exceeds expectations every time. It's time for a set of BAD Series Disc Brakes from your friends at Airkewld.

The GEN 1 set of BAD Series Brakes brings new life to a tried and true disc brake conversion. Any conversion offered by the PRO's will come with all the necessary parts to install; you will only need to supply the brake fluid and furnish the lug nuts required to fit your actual wheels. If you need to know what you need,
check out this article.

5 of 5 Bad 4305 Conversion October 24, 2017
Reviewer: Steven Castillo from Honolulu , HI United States
I've come to never expect complete bolt on and go on anything aftermarket-no big deal. Assembly was easy and smooth. I just had to cut 5mm off the wheel studs to make sure my aftermarket Fuchs would snug up tight against the hubs-could be the Empi aftermarket lugs didn't help either. Went to bed the pads in and followed instructions and when finished with the last hard stop had a solid hard pedal that moved 2 inches happy and the stopping now no longer need to keep distance from front vehicles and down shifting and brake pumping!
By the way the My 66 Bus is not stock and has a BIG motor.

5 of 5 Fitment of BAD Brakes with OG Fuchs August 3, 2016
Reviewer: Joni Hamalainen
I installed your (64-67) complete disk brake kit on my -57 bus (with late
model spindles + IRS application).
The installation was totally painless and everything fits like planned so
THANK YOU!
Also support was 10+.

I have ORIGINAL early Porsche Fuchs (4.5x15 & 6x15 deep sixes, with hearts)
and before i ordered your brake kit i was asking about the fitting...
You told me that you are not sure if they will fit and probably would need
spacers.

So just to let you know (if any other customer asks):
The WILL fit and if you put 2mm spacers the original center cups will fit
also.
I ended up to grind 2mm off from axles and now the fit like a glove!
